Perry County School District No. 32 is seeking a Paraprofessional Transportation Aide for the 2026-2027 school year. A paraprofessional transportation aide provides support services to students while being transported to and from school. These services may include, but are not limited to, monitoring, loading and unloading, buckling and unbuckling, behavior modification, ensuring safe boarding and unboarding and overall supervision.

 

SALARY RANGE

Starting at $15.36 per hour

• New employees receive credit for previous FULL years of verified experience in appropriate experience related to the area in which they will work.
• Current District 32 salary schedules.

 

WORK SCHEDULE

This position works 38 hours per week, Monday - Friday, following the school calendar along with scheduled professional development days.

Classified 9-month employees at Perry County School District 32 receive the following benefits:

• The district pays up to $650.00 per month for the employee’s medical insurance, which begins on the first day of the month following the official employment date. Vision, dental, and life insurance are optional and at employee expense. 
• District-paid $10,000.00 life insurance policy.
• Paid leave: 8 sick days and unused sick leave will be cumulative to 180 days, with a maximum carryover of 172 days; 4 personal days that do not carryover, but are added to the annual sick leave and then qualify for accumulation.
